We believe all people should have access to healthy buildings, fresh air, clean water, nourishing food, and resilient landscapes. We are working toward a future where all buildings produce more renewable energy than they consume; buildings clean our air, clean our water, and sequester carbon from our atmosphere; and rooftops are both garden landscapes and solar energy generators. 

Green Hammer is widely recognized as an innovator and leader in healthy, green building. We are currently one of fewer than 15 firms nationwide meeting the American Institute of Architects’ 2030 Commitment — a voluntary initiative to transition the building industry to a carbon-free environment by 2030. We designed the Living Building certified tasting room at Cowhorn Vineyard and Garden—the first commercial building in Oregon to meet this ambitious goal. In 2019, we were recognized as a Fast Company Innovation by Design honoree for Tillamook Row Zero Energy community in Portland. And in 2020, we were inducted into the Earth Advantage Builder of the Year Hall of Fame.
